Anna N. Smith Obituary

Anna N. Smith (Carnevale), 91, passed away Monday, January 7, 2018 at the Kent Hospital in Warwick. She was the wife of the late Almond B. Smith. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Angelina (Marchetti) Carnevale. Anna was the beloved mother of Wayne B. Smith, Sr., Sheila A. Brodeur, Jeffrey B. Smith and his wife, Lola, and Christopher L. Smith; loving grandmother of Jennifer, Phillip, Melissa, Brian, Heather, and Wayne, Jr. She was the grandmother of the late Lori Remak. Anna was the sister of Gerald Carnevale, and the late Anthony Carnevale, Thomas Carnevale, Robert Carnevale, and Mary Jo Colaiacomo. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Friday, January 11, 2019 from 4-7 PM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial will be private in the RI Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter.
