Barbara B. Sgambato Obituary

Barbara B. (Fusco) Sgambato, 78, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Frank P. Sgambato for 57 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Angelina (Impagliazzo) Fusco. Mrs. Sgambato lived in Warwick for 19 years before moving to North Providence 57 years ago. Her pride and joy was caring for her husband and family. Besides her husband she was the devoted mother of Deborah M. D'Alessio, John L. Sgambato, Frank S. Sgambato and Stacy S. DeMedeiros all of North Providence. She was the loving grandmother of Dyana LeBlanc, Jessica D'Alessio, John and Christopher Sgambato, Anthony and Sydney DeMedeiros; and great-grandmother of 3. She was the sister of Louis Fusco of Wakefield, and the late Frank Fusco and Marie Zabbo.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 10:30am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visitation respectfully omitted.
