Christine E. Johnson Obituary

Christine E. Johnson (Black), 54, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017. Born in Providence she was a daughter of Elaine I. (Bettencourt) Black and the late Francis J. Black. Christine had lived in Warwick for most of her life. She had formerly been employed in the jewelry industry. Besides her mother, she leaves her beloved daughter, Ashley Nicole Black, and her sisters Nadine Black, and Jeanine Zafia, and her husband Jeffrey. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 9 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Ave. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of RI, 205 Hallene Drive, Suite 209, Warwick, RI 02886 will be appreciated.
