Daniel E. Granata Obituary

Granata, Daniel E., 83, died Friday, April 20, 2018 A resident of Providence for most of his life, he was a son of the late Joseph F. and Rachel H. (Murphy) Granata. Mr. Granata was the owner of Dan’s Dairy Land in Warwick for over 20 years and was formally employed as a machinist at Leesona Corp. A Korean War Veteran, he had served in the US Air Force. He is survived by his son, John J. Granata and his wife Sherrie; grandchildren, Danielle Granata and John Granata, Jr.; siblings, Carmela Workman, Elaine Williams, William Granata, the late Joseph and John Granata, Virginia Chiodo and Gloria Zito.

His funeral will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane, where military honors will be accorded.
