Dorothy J. Robinson Obituary

Dorothy J. (Lyon) Robinson, 78, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020 at home. She was the wife of the late Roland H. Robinson, and the daughter of the late George F. and Virginia (Lucey) Lyon. Dorothy was the loving mother of David W. Robinson and his wife Christian E. of Ashland, MA, Brian A. Robinson of Litchfield, NH, Glenn M. Robinson, Esq. and his companion Lori J. Hurley of Barrington, RI, and Shawn T. Robinson of Warwick, RI. Dorothy was the loving grandmother of Connor A. Robinson of Litchfield, NH, Kevin J. Robinson of Litchfield, NH, Brendan M. Robinson of Ashland, MA and Conal J. Robinson of Ashland, MA. She was the sister of the late George Anthony and Virginia Bowie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Prior to having children, Dorothy was employed by Amica Insurance. Dorothy was a dedicated mother who took deep pride in raising her family. She was a kindhearted, loving and caring person. Dorothy enjoyed vacationing annually in Boothbay Harbor, ME with her husband and sons.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 2, 2020 at 11 AM in St. Clement Church, Long Street, Warwick. Burial will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours Thursday, 4-8 PM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Face masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
