Eleanor F. Fiske Obituary

ELEANOR F. (CHRISTIE) FISKE, 89, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 at the Village at Waterman Lake. She was the beloved wife of Roy W. Fiske. Born in East Providence, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Harriet (Field) Christie. Mrs. Fiske was a direct descendant of Roger Williams and a Brownie leader for 20 years. She was blessed to be surrounded by lots of children through Sunday School, Girl Scouts and Brownies. Her family was the most important thing to her, she enjoyed sewing, cooking and will always be remembered as a role model and mentor.
In addition to her husband Roy, she was the devoted mother of Diane L. King Stehr, June E. Totolo, Ann S. Dionne and Nancy A. Fargnoli. She was the sister of Edith Langlois, Harriet Gallucci and the late Barbara Nolan, Janet Bell and Charles Christie. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Her funeral and burial will be private.
