Fredrick A. Bellows, 83, of Forestdale, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at home. He was the beloved husband of Gloria (Morrison) Bellows. Born in Smithfield, he was a son of the late P. Fredrick and Mildred (Abrams) Bellows. Mr. Bellows was an aerospace engineer for 40years and worked for Lockheed-Martin in Denver, Colorado for 10 years, retiring in 1992. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII and lived in Littleton, Colorado before moving to Forestdale in 1992. Besides his wife, he was the father of Vincent J. Bellows and his wife Robin of Warwick, Morris S. Bellows of Atlanta, GA, Glenda A. Brewer and her husband Victor of Plainville, MA and the late Fredrick A. Bellows, Jr. Father in-law of May Bellows of Forestdale. Brother of Esther L. Hall and Nina F. Hardwick; grandfather of 6 and great grandfather of 6. His funeral and burial were private.
