Joshua B. Barrette, 28, passed on Thursday, July 12, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Warwick, he was a beloved son of Peter J. and Diane F. (Buron) Barrette; a loving grandson of Richard and Beverly (Ball) Buron; the caring brother of Brandon J. Barrette; and the loving boyfriend of Shannon N. Hyle.
Josh worked as a welder at Electric Boat for many years. He was currently employed as a Quality Control Inspector for inTerra Innovation. Josh was passionate about riding his motorcycle, Boston Bruins, and exploring breweries. He was learning to garden and aspired to own a farm, “The Fahking Farm.” Josh was a family man and his family was most important to him, including his Buttonwoods family. He made it a point to attend every family event. Josh also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 9:30 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 am in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Ave. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours, Tuesday, 4-8 pm.In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Worcester County Motorcyclists' Survivors Fund, Inc., P.O.
