Almgren, Karl O., Jr. "Chipper", 59, of Warwick, passed away peacefully Monday, November 14, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Gail A. (DiSano) Almgren for thirty-eight years.
Born in Providence, he was a son of Karl O. Almgren of Warwick and the late Marie R. (Lebeau) Almgren.
Chipper had worked at Grace Church Apartments and Picerne Properties. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his three children, Ellen Almgren of Warwick, Karl O. Almgren, III of Cranston and Christina Almgren of Warwick; a brother, Kenneth Almgren of Warwick; two sisters, Lori Gentile of Coventry and Debra Almgren of Warwick; and his six cherished grandchildren, Manuel, Amanda, Michael, Envie, Avery and Layla.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 4-7pm withy a funeral service at 6pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick.
