Laurie A. Hayes, 52, passed away suddenly Sunday, August 4, 2019. She was the wife of the late David J. Hayes, Jr. Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Roger and Cecile (Levesque) Thibault. Laurie lived in Smithfield for 16 years before moving to Johnston in 2018. She worked in human services for over 30 years, volunteered for the Special Olympics and enjoyed kick boxing, karate, kayaking and most outdoor sports.
She is survived by her sons, David J. Hayes, III of Johnston and Michael A. Jordan of Woonsocket. She was the sister of Diane Doyan and her husband Robert and Ronald Thibault. Laurie is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 9-10am in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt.44), Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Thomas Church, Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston.
