Lawrence H. Butterfield Obituary

Butterfield, Lawrence H., Sr., 90, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014
at West View Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Winifred M. "Milly" (Handy) Butterfield and a son of the late Lawrence L. and Catherine (Hennessey) Butterfield. Mr. Butterfield was employed with Earl Scheib Paint and Auto Body for 20 years and retired as vice president. He was also employed with Morris Farms for 15 years before retiring. He was a WWII Navy veteran and a former member of the Elks and Knights of Columbus. He is survived by one son, Lawrence H. Butterfield, Jr.; one daughter, Linda "Lynn" G. Loveday; one grandson, Lawrence J. Loveday and one great granddaughter Amber L. Loveday. He was brother of the late George Butterfield.

His funeral will be held Saturday, September 13 at 8:30 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane at 9:30 am. Burial with military honors will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visiting hours Friday 5-8 pm.
