Lillian E. (Sousa) Rebella, 91, of Warwick passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at her home in Warwick surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Anthony “Reb” Rebella. She had previously lived in West Warwick for over ninety years before moving to Warwick.
She was born in West Warwick on September 7, 1927, a daughter of the late Frank and Clara (Frates) Sousa.
Lillian was a life long communicant of Saint Anthony Church in West Warwick.
She leaves a daughter, Susanne Dantone and husband, Richard of Warwick; a son, Ernest Rebella and wife, Christina of Arcadia, Florida; a brother, Ronald Sousa of Coventry; two sisters, Dorothy Rogers and Hazel Medeiros both of Coventry; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Frank Rebella and the sister of the late Lydia Vadeboncoeur.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 10 am in Saint Anthony Church, 1 Sunset Avenue, West Warwick. Interment will be in the SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Coventry. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to your favorite charity or organization plus one act of kindness in Lillian's name. Arrangements are by the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, West Warwick.
