Marjorie Keefe Barsamian (Burdick), 97, of Warwick passed away peacefully April 6, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Robert M. Keefe and Haig Barsamian.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Margaret (Reeves) Burdick.
She graduated from Mount Pleasant High School and received her nursing degree from RI Junior College. Mrs. Barsamian was a registered nurse and the Assistant Director of Nurses for the RI Medical Center before retiring. She enjoyed golfing, painting, knitting, sewing and bowling. She loved the beach, birds and was an avid reader.
She leaves two children, Robert C. Keefe and his wife Linda of Warwick; Marjerry E. Perry of Sun City West, AZ; a step-son, David Barsamian and his wife Kimberly of Cranston; three grandchildren, Brenda Holland and her husband John of Cranston, Edward A. Perry and his wife Elizabeth of IL and Robert A. Perry and his wife Robyn of North Kingstown; three step-grandchildren, Ashley, Melanie and Marc Barsamian; and seven great-grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Scott E. Keefe; and sister of the late James Burdick, Charles Burdick and George Douglas Wilner.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 10am - 12pm followed by a funeral service at 12pm in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
