Mary F. "GoGo" Aunchman Obituary

Mary F. “Gogo” (D’Esposito) Aunchman, 65, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family, Thursday, May 28, 2020. She was the wife of William G. Aunchman. Born in Evanston, IL, she was a daughter of the late Julian and Dorothy (Shannon) D’Esposito. Mary was a cosmetic manager for Macy’s for many years and a store manager for Victoria’s Secret before retiring in 2015. She was a very active member of the Gloria Gemma Foundation and the RI Pink Heals. Mary has been a Smithfield resident for 20 years and a parishioner of St. Michael’s Church in Smithfield. Besides her husband she was the mother of Aimee M. Tortolano (Brian) of Smithfield. She was the sister of Julian D’Esposito (Molly), Denise Larsen (Craig), Clancy Senechalle (Bob), Kate D’Esposito and Ann D’Esposito all of Chicago. She was the grandmother “Gogo” of Cristina, Elisabeth and Domenic Tortolano. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Her funeral and burial will be private. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at a later date due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In lieu of flowers donations to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 will be appreciated.
