Nicholas J Smerkar Obituary

Nicholas J. Smerkar, Sr., 66, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at home. Born in Warwick he was a son of the late Frank D. and Anna (Rathbun) Smerkar. Nick was the beloved father of Nicholas J. Smerkar Jr., Christine A. Smerkar-Lannon (Michael) and Elizabeth A. Smerkar (Jaime). Loving Grandfather of Cristian, Cynthia, Sophia and Abigail. He was the brother of John Smerkar, Peter Smerkar and the late Frank Smerkar. Nick loved spending time with family and enjoyed building his motorcycle which he rode for many years.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 10AM from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Route 3, West Greenwich. Visiting hours Friday 4-8PM.
