Stephen N. Tolias Obituary

Stephen N. Tolias, 64, passed away Friday, October 18, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Gail H. (Katno) Tolias. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Nicholas S. and Christine V. (Barakas) Tolias. Mr. Tolias was a master carpenter and owner of the former Holly Construction Co. for over 50 years before retiring in 2003. He lived in Chepachet for 27 years before moving to North Providence in 2018. Mr. Tolias loved his carpentry work and had a large collection of tools. He was a true sports fan and enjoyed watching the N.E. Patriots, Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox and the Boston Celtics. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his wife Gail.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his children, Richelle A. Fitzgerald and her husband Ryan of Johnston, Nicholas S. Tolias and his wife Melissa and Alexander S. Tolias of North Providence and his girlfriend Hellen Yanes of Providence. He was the adoring grandfather of Brianna Audette and Blake Fitzgerald. Mr. Tolias was the brother of Virginia (Tolias) Cohen and her husband Barry of Canton, MA and the late Kathleen Parks and his late twin sister Janice Strode. He was the uncle of Christin and Nicole Cohen.
Visitation Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019 from 5-8PM in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt.44) Greenville. Burial will be private.
